Overview: Nonprofit Security Grant Program FY 2010
Grant Amounts & Matching: Eligible applicants will be able to apply for up to $75,000 to bolster their physical security and conduct preparedness training.
Equipment: The grant funds two categories of security equipment and activities: Physical Security Enhancement Equipment and Inspection and Screening Systems
Training: The grant funds may also be used by an organization's security personnel to attend training courses and programs. Allowable training-related costs are limited to attendance fees for training, and related expenses for materials, supplies and/or equipment.

Fundraising Initiatives
Dr. Lawrence Bellman is an Associate Professor of Management at Touro College's Graduate School of Business and Director of their Entrepreneurial Institute, which services both the undergraduate and graduate schools. Dr. Bellman has previously taught courses in entrepreneurship, management, international business, and marketing at the graduate and undergraduate levels at Hofstra University and Pace University and at the Sy Syms School of Business of Yeshiva University. He also served as Director of the Entrepreneurial Institute for Yeshiva University. Dr. Bellman received his doctorate in International Business from Pace University, and was Valectorian of his graduating class. He has published in journals such as Business Horizons, Journal of Entrepreneurial Education, and the Journal of the American Telemarketing Association. He has provided consulting services to many entrepreneurial ventures. He writes a recurring column called the "Entrepreneur's Corner" for The Jewish Press.

Rabbi Pesach Lerner is the executive vice president of the National Council of Young Israel. In addition to his rabbinic education and degrees, Rabbi Lerner has a bachelor's degree in accounting, a master's degree in education, and postgraduate certificates and degrees in not for profit management. Rabbi Lerner lectures on not for profit management, synagogue and community programming, creative fundraising, to synagogues and schools across America, Europe and Israel.
