Rabbi Moshe N. Abramczyk
Rabbi Moshe N. Abramczyk is a native of Brooklyn (NY), where he graduated from Yeshiva Torah Vodaas High School as Salutatorian. He continued learning at Yeshivas Kol Torah in Jerusalem, Israel, followed by Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood (NJ), where he received his semicha. He is the former Assistant Rosh Kollel at Kehillas Bnai Sholom in Philadelphia (PA). Currently, he is a weekly lecturer in Fairlawn (NJ) for Torah Links as well as serving in Lakewood as the Daf Yomi Magid Shiur for Congregation Kol Aryeh and the Posek / Program Coordinator for Bais Horaah. Within Beth Medrash Govoha, he is a Rosh Chaburah and a Chosson Instructor, coaching grooms on the laws of family purity and the Jewish perspective of marriage; he counsels and instructs young married couples regarding Halachic and personal issues. He, his wife Rochel (nee Dewick), and their children reside in Lakewood.
Eitan Moshe Allen
Eitan Moshe Allen is originally from Fairfield (CT). He was a leader in NCSY serving as New England Regional Vice-President of Education and later as a regional advisor. After graduating from Ramaz High School, Eitan enrolled in Yeshiva University’s early admissions program. During this time he served as an assistant to the Chief Rabbi of Lithuania, Sholom Ber Krinsky, in the capital city of Vilna, where he ran Shabbatonim, summer camps and taught classes to Lithuanian Jews. Eitan spent two intense years pursuing his Torah learning in Yeshivat Kerem B’Yavneh in Israel and then returned to America to continue his studies at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore (MD). While learning at Ner Israel, Eitan also earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the
University of Maryland. Eitan is currently con tinuing studying for semicha in the graduate kollel at Ner Israel while pursuing a Master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College of Maryland. Eitan is an Executive Board member of Shearith Israel Congregation (Glen Avenue Shul), Baltimore (MD). Eitan and his wife, Miriam (nee Brown) of Detroit (MI), are the parents of Shoshana and Tehila.
Shaya Bondar
Shaya Bondar is a native of Baltimore (MD), where he currently resides. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and studied at Mir Yerushalayim (Jerusalem, Israel). He is currently studying at Ner Israel Rabbinical College, Baltimore (MD), where he has already earned a Bachelor of Talmudic Law degree.
Dovid Brotsky
Dovid Brotsky is originally from Elizabeth (NJ) and graduated from its Jewish Educational Center (JEC). He continued his studies at Yeshivas Toras Simcha in Israel and then by Yeshivas Mir in Jerusalem. He is currently studying for semicha at Ner Israel Rabbinical College, where he has been for the past five years. He tutors high school students and assists two men through Partners-in-Torah. He has completed the Star-K Kashrus training and the Eternal Jewish Family HilchosGeirus Learning Program. He is married to Sarah (nee Sapper), and they are the parents of two daughters, Tzivia (3) and Nechama (an infant).
Jonathan Chapman
Jonathan Chapman is a native of Canarsie, New York. He graduated from Lander College with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and is currently in the Lander College Semicha program. He serves as a rotational rabbi at Young Israel of Jackson Heights. He was an NCSY advisor in Binghamton (NY) and Oceanside (NY) and plans to undertake a Master's degree in Social Work.
Rabbi Michoel Chazan
Rabbi Michoel Chazan is originally from the Long Island communities of Laurelton and Cedarhurst (NY). He studied at United Lubavitch Yeshiva and received his semicha from Kollel Aishal Avraham. He is the Director of Chaplaincy at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, Brooklyn (NY). He is married to Sara (nee Jampolsky), and they are the parents of Ahron Yosef, Chaya, Menachem Mendel, Shayna Brocha, and Miriam.
Rabbi Jake Czuper
Jake Czuper is originally from Atlanta (GA). He learned at Ohr Yerushalayim in Israel and continued his studies at Lander College/Beit Medresh L'Talmud, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He is currently studying in the Semicha program at Beit Medrash L'Talmud. He is married to Chani (nee Kin).
Rabbi Asher Dworetsky
Asher Dworetsky grew up in North Woodmere and attended Young Israel of North Woodmere. He graduated from DRS/HALB High School and studied in Yeshiva Kerem B'yavneh for two years. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He is a student in Yeshiva University's Azreli Graduate School of Jewish Education where he is pursuing a Master's degree in Jewish Education. He will be a student at Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social work beginning in June where he plans to earn a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work. He is currently working as a Rebbe in Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR), a placement that was made through the NCYI rabbinic training program.
Rabbi Avraham Epstein
Rabbi Avraham Epstein was born in Omaha,
Nebraska and is the son of a chinuch family that has served in Jewish Day Schools in Indianapolis, Kansas City and Rochester. Rabbi Epstein spent his formative years learning in Yeshivot in Eretz Yisrael. He spent 7 years in Yeshivas Toras Moshe and Mir Yerushalayim. Returning to the United States, he earned a Bachelors degree in Talmud from Ner Israel Rabbinical College, Baltimore (MD) and a Masters degree in Education from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Rabbi Epstein currently serves as Rabbi at Congregation Beit Hillel of Flatlands in the Flatbush neighborhood of Georgetown, a synagogue that recently became a proper Orthodox synagogue. Rabbi Epstein is married to Dr. Michelle Glater, a clinical pharmacist at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City.
Rabbi Michael Broder Friedman
Michael Broder Friedman is originally from Olney, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where he became a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He co-founded the student-led human rights organization "Operation: SICK" (Stop Inciting Children to Kill), and served as a volunteer for interracial and intergroup dialogues at the Student Intercultural Learning Center. He was involved in Israel advocacy and activism on and off-campus. He worked for the University of Maryland's Office of Psychology, as well as the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) in Washington, DC. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics with a minor in Psychology, he studied at Yeshivat Darche Noam (David Shapell College) in Jerusalem, Israel. He is currently learning at Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore (MD), and recently married Nicole (nee Kane) in Chicago (IL).
Shimon D. Godick
Shimon D. Godick is a native of Pelham Parkway, Bronx (NY). He is currently pursuing a semicha degree at Yeshivas Ohr HaChaim in Kew Gardens Hills (NY) as well as a Bachelors Degree at Touro College. He is a member of Chevra Hatzalah of Queens and delivers a weekly shiur in Pelham Parkway. He and his wife, Blima Hadassah (nee Strauss) reside in Kew Gardens Hills.
Rabbi Chaim Gordon
Chaim Gordon is a native of Brooklyn (NY). He is currently studying for Semicha at Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim in Kew Gardens Hills, (NY). He is also a Mashgiach in the Beis Medrash Program of Yeshiva Tiferes Yisroel in Brooklyn, NY. He and his wife Naomi are the parents of Moshe Dov, Tzipporah, Yisroel Meir, and Avraham Yeshaya.
Rabbi Yochanan Chaim Ivry
Rabbi Yochanan Chaim Ivry studied at the Rabbinical College of Canada and at the Rabbinical College of Australia and New Zealand where he received his Judaic Bachelor’s degree. He received his semicha (ordination) from Central Yeshivah Tomchei Temimim, Brooklyn (NY) in June 1996. Rabbi Ivry has been active with various outreach organizations: He was Assistant Rabbi at the Beach Cities Community Center, Manhhatan Beach, (CA) and was involved with the Prison Outreach Program and High School Heritage program-LYO in Brooklyn NY. He also worked for Tzivos Hashem Jewish Childrens Outreach Program, Paris, France. He has been the Rav of Congregation Toras Emes of Staten Island for the past seven years, and runs its Talmud Torah Hebrew School. His wife, Sterna Sarah (nee Attal), is in charge of the synagogue's day care and day camp program. Rabbi Ivry is also a Rabbinic Chaplain for Continuum Hospice, in New York (NY), where he services Jewish Hospice patients and their families in the metropolitan New York area. He is presently in a program of Clinical Pastoral Education to become a Certified Clinical Chaplain. Rabbi Ivry and his wife are parents of 4 children, Chaya (7), Mendel (5), Shlomo (3), and Dovber (1)
Rabbi Michoel Kadosh
Michoel Kadosh is originally from Lawrence (NY). He received a Bachelor of Talmudic Law from Yeshiva Chaim Berlin and plans to enter Fordham Law School in the Fall. For two years he was the Director of Teen and College Programming at Norfolk Area Community Kollel. He and his wife, Rahel (nee Fluk), are the parents of Leah, Shimon, Sarah, and Tzvi.
Rabbi Chaim Kaminsky
Rabbi Chaim Kaminsky is originally from Bayside (NY). He graduated from Touro College with a Bachelor of Science and from Azrieli Graduate School, Yeshiva University with a Master's degree. He earned his Doctorate in Religion and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and received his semicha from Mesivta Tifereth Jerusalem in New York City. He teaches Halacha at Yeshiva University High School for Girls and volunteers as a mediator at Community Mediation Services of Queens.
Rabbi Ariel Kopitnikoff
Ariel Kopitnikoff is originally from Elizabeth (NJ). After his graduation from Jewish Educational Center High School in Elizabeth, he continued his studies in Yeshivat Teferet Yerushalayim in Bayit Vegan, Israel. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management from Lander College, where he is also studying for Semicha. He and his kallah, Shani Sklar, are planning (with G-d's help) a wedding at the end of June.
Rabbi Avi Krym
Avi Krym is originally from Ottawa, Ontario (Canada). He is presently studying for Semicha at Bais Medresh L'talmud (Lander College for Men). He graduated from Lander College with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Avi has extensive experience working in (Jewish) outreach as well as both administrative and programming skills from NCSY and Aish Hatorah.
Rabbi Boruch Chaim Mandel
Rabbi Boruch Chaim Mandel is originally from Toronto, Canada. He studied at Yeshiva Gedola Zichron Shmayahu of Toronto, Yeshivas Brisk Yerushalayim, and is currently learning in Beth Medrash Gavoha (BMG), Lakewood (NJ). He received both his Semicha (Rabbinic ordination) and Bachelors in Talmudics from BMG. He has delivered shiurim and sermons in Congregation JEP (Jewish Educational Program) in Toronto and has served as a counselor in summer camps for Russian children in both Russia and Israel. Rabbi Mandel's participation in the NCYI Rabbinic Training Program is the third generation link to the family's Young Israel relationship. His grandfather, Mr. Bert Mandel, has been a member of Young Israel of Cleveland for over fifty years, and his father grew up davening in YIC. Rabbi Mandel and his wife, Bytia (nee Wiederkehr from Antwerp, Belgium) are the parents of Yaakov and Eliezer Yitzchok.
Rabbi Eliezer Maybruch
Eliezer Maybruch is a native of Kew Gardens Hills (NY). He studied at Yeshiva Shaar Hatorah Grodna in Kew Gardens (NY) and Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim and Nesivos Hatorah in Staten Island (NY). He is currently finishing his semicha in Bais Medrash L'Talmud in Kew Gardens Hills. In addition to helping students of bais medrash level advance their learning skills, he is a baal tefila for the Yomim Noraim. He and his wife Sara, the daughter of Rav Feivel (zt"l), Rabbi of Young Israel of Forest Hills, and Rebbetzin Bina Wagner, are blessed with two children, Yocheved (3) and Shraga Feivel (20 months).
Rabbi Koby Milgraum
Rabbi Koby Milgraum was raised in Edison (NJ). He is a graduate of Jewish Educational Center (JEC), Elizabeth (NJ). Upon high school graduation he went to Israel and learned at Ohr Yerushalayim. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and received his semicha from Lander College in Kew Gardens Hills (NY). He and his wife, Rivky (nee Reinitz), are the parents of Leah.
Rabbi Yisroel Perelson
Rabbi Yisroel Perelson is originally from Israel. He studied at Yeshiva Torah Vodaath in Brooklyn (NY), where he received his semicha. He is the Assistant Rabbi of the Flatbush Park Jewish Center. He is the leader of the young people's minyan and gives shiurim as well. Rabbi Perelson has served with distinction as Assistant Principal of the Flatbush Park Jewish Center Talmud Torah for the past three years. He and his wife, Raizee (nee Fine), are the parents of Moshe, Chayala, Esty, Brachy, and Shlomi.
Rabbi Yosef Rabinowich
Rabbi Yosef Rabinowich grew up in Jerusalem, Israel and in Flatbush (NY). He studied at Yeshiva Tiferes Elimelech, Rabbeinu Jacob Joseph School, Edison (NJ), and Kol Torah, Jerusalem (Israel), Mir Yerushalayim. He has been at Ner Israel Rabbinical College for the past 8 years, where he received a Bachelor of Talmudic Law. He received semicha from Rabbi Zalman Nechemiah Goldberg of Jerusalem. He has participated in various SEED programs throughout the United States and Australia. He is also involved in the NCSY Camp Sports Kollel on the Ner Israel campus. He and his wife, Tehilla (nee Tajerstein) are the parents of Yocheved (2) and Devorah (6 months).
Rabbi Meir Reiner
Rabbi Meir Reiner is originally from Huntington, NY. He received semicha (ordination) from the Rabbinical Seminary of America-Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim where he has studied for the past nine years. He has served as a guest synagogue Rabbi, learned with community members as part of the yeshiva's Community Learning Program as well as participating in Summer SEED. Rabbi Reiner graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance. He was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar and a Joseph Wharton Scholar. He currently provides strategic and financial direction as a member of the board of two renewable energy start-up companies. He and his wife Shira (nee Brodsky) are the parents of Eliana, Chaim, Leah and Tehilla.
Rabbi Yehoshua Rubenstein
Yehoshua Rubenstein is a native of Valley Village (CA). He has graduated from Valley Torah High School and continued his studied at Yeshiva Kerem B'Yavneh, Yeshiva Toras Moshe, Ner Yisroel Rabbinical College, Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, and Ohr HaChaim. He is currently learning in the Lander College Kollel. He received a Bachelors of Talmudic Law from Ner Israel Rabbinical College. He has served as the Teen Minyan Rabbi at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills for the past two years. He and his wife, Miriam (nee Lax), reside in Kew Gardens Hills, New York, with their children, Yehuda Moshe (3) and Aryeh Meir (10 months).
Rabbi Aaron Salzman
Aaron Saltzman is a native of Cleveland (OH). He has learned at Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore for eight years and received a Bachelors of Talmudic Law in '07. He is currently preparing for Semicha Yoreh Yoreh (Mishnah Berurah, Issur V'Hetter, Niddah), as well as learning Choshen Mishpot with the Av Beis Din of the Baltimore Beis Din (MD). He is frequently requested as a guest speaker in addition to being a tutor and volunteer ba'al korei in many synagogues.
Rabbi Moshe Sandhaus
Moshe Sandhaus is a native of Scranton (PA). He received a Masters in Talmudic Law from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and is currently learning for semicha. He is also a 9th grade mentor to students in the Ner Israel's high school. He and his wife, Malkie (nee Sokoloff), are the parents of Yisroel Yitzchak, Hudi, and Chani.
Rabbi Shmuel Shmueli
Rabbi Shmuel Shmueli is a native of Crown Heights (NY). He studied at Yeshiva Ohelei Torah, Yeshivas Toronto, and Tomchi Temimim and received his semicha in Israel from Rabbi Y. Yeruslofsky. He is the Assistant Rabbi at Plainview Synagogue, where he teaches adult education in Halacha, Gemara, Jewish History and Hashkafa. He is the 6th grade Limudey Kodesh Rebbe at Ohr Menachem (Crown Heights).
Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Shmueli
Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Shmueli is a native of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York. He studied at Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim and received his semicha (rabbinical ordination) from Machon L'hora'ah, a branch of Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Pretoria, South Africa. He also received semicha from Rabbi Yakov Warhaftig and Chief Rabbi of Haifa Rabbi Sh'ar Yashuv Cohen of Machon Ariel in Jerusalem, Israel. He gives a weekly shiur at the Plainview Synagogue in Plainview (NY), works with youth programming and gives Bar Mitzvah lessons. He is a professional Chazan and Baal Koreh.
Rabbi Adam Shulman
Adam Shulman was born in Columbus (OH). He has been studying at Ner Israel Rabbinical College, Baltimore (MD) for six years and received his Bachelor of Talmudic Law there. He is in second year of semicha at Ner Israel. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from University of Maryland, Baltimore County and has spent the last year and a half living in Owings Mills, a Baltimore suburb, involved with an outreach shul. He is married to Ellie (nee Shimanovich).
Rabbi Adam Sigman
Adam Sigman is originally from Great Neck (NY) and is currently living in Woodmere (NY). He has studied at Yeshivat Shaalvim in Israel and Ohr Hachaim in Kew Gardens Hill (NY) and received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Touro College. He is currently studying for semicha at Beis Medrash L'Talmud in Kew Gardens Hills (NY).
Rabbi Binyamin Silver
Binyamin Silver was raised in Memphis, Tennessee and attended high school in Israel. He studied at Ner Israel Rabbinical College and earned a Bachelor in Talmudic Law and is currently studying at Loyola University Chicago (IL), where he will receive a M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision this coming Fall. Additionally, he is also studying for Smicha at NIRC. He has participated in the SEED Program in Sydney, Australia and North Miami Beach (FL), where he has lectured and taught at the local schools and shuls. Through the SEED program he also was involved in one-on-one learning with various members of the Sydney community.
Rabbi Avi Stewart
Avi Stewart is originally from Los Angeles (CA). He has studied at Ner Israel Rabbinical College, Baltimore (MD), where he received a Bachelor's of Talmudic Law, Kollel Avodas Levi, and Mir Yerushalayim. He earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Community Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore (MD). He has been involved in many aspects of community outreach through University Heritage Society, Heritage Retreats and the Eitz Chaim Center for Jewish Studies, Baltimore. He has also served as a rabbinic intern at Bnei Jacob Shaarei Zion in Baltimore. He is married to Shaindy (nee Botnick), a Special Education teacher. They are the parents of Rivkie (3) and Tehila (22 months).
Rabbi Josh Sturn
Josh Sturm is originally from Staten Island (NY). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Lander College for Men. He is currently in the Semicha program at Beis Medrash L'Talmud Lander College. Josh and his wife, Stefanie, currently reside in Kew Gardens Hills, New York.
Rabbi Yosef Wagner
Rabbi Yosef Wagner is a native of Atlanta (GA). He earned a Masters of Science degree in General Education from The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore (MD). He received his semicha and Bachelors of Talmudic Law degree from Ner Israel Rabbinical College and is continuing his studies at Ner Israel. He is also a sofer, certified by Rabbi Moshe Heineman and the Star-K. Rabbi Wagner and his wife, Tracie (nee Kaufler), and their family reside in Baltimore.
Rabbi Simcha Wein
Simcha Wein is originally from Flatbush, Brooklyn (NY). He studied at the Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia and Beth Medrash Govoha, Lakewood (NJ). He has learned in Kollel for 11 years, and is currently learning in the Kollel Avodas Levi of Ner Israel Rabbinical College, Baltimore (MD). He and his wife, Aliza (nee Bondar) are the parents of Perri (10), Yisroel (7½), Eliezer (5½), and Chani (1½).
Rabbi Simcha Weingot
Yisroel Simcha Weingot is a native of Baltimore (MD). He has studied at Telshe Rabbinical College, Cleveland (OH), Brisker Kollel in Jerusalem, Beth Medrash Govoha, Lakewood (NJ) and Yeshiva Gedola of the Five Towns (NY). While he is currently preparing for semicha, he is a rebbe at Hebrew Academy of Nassau County (HANC) High School and a Daf Yomi Magid Shiur at Aish Kodesh of Woodmere and at Meridian Capital Mortgage Corp. LLC in New York City. He is married to Suri (nee Weinberger), and they are the parents of Levi Yitzchok, Chaya, and Elisheva Leba.
Rabbi Raphael Yaveh
Rabbi Raphael Yavneh is a native of Brooklyn (NY) and is studying for advanced rabbinical ordination at Mesivta Yeshiva Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin. His wife, Shoshana (nee Szmulewicz), works as a certified public accountant. They reside in Brooklyn with their three children.
