YIGC Volunteers Ice Cream Social

Ice Cream Social—Shabbos, August 22

The Executive Board wishes to express its deep appreciation to those who of you who have volunteered to make our shul an exciting and vibrant institution.  It does not matter whether your efforts were big and splashy or unknown to most, all volunteers are welcome to an ice cream social in your honor.  Without our volunteers, the shul would not function on a day-to-day basis, as well as it would not be able to offer many programs that our Kehillah either has come to rely on, or just events that we have enjoyed.

So please join us on Shabbat, August 22nd after the first Mincha, which starts at 6:15 PM, for a delicious “Thank You” event.  Both pareve and dairy ice cream will be available, and Chalav Yisroel needs will be addressed as well.

Hear ye!  Announcing the new Cochair of the Friendliness Committee!  Daniella Robicsek Botnick is joining Reuven Freund to head up this very vital committee.  We’re delighted that both of them heeded the call.  Their main focus is potential members and newest members- making people feel welcome and connected.  They’ve got great ideas, and welcome yours too!  Contact them at your convenience, at this email and this one too .

 

 

June, July and August are the months when the most new neighbors move to town.  Join me and the greeters in shul in our lookout for new faces.  Let’s give them a friendly welcome to our shul!
