Mazel tov! We have all attended countless weddings, but how much of the process do we really understand? This class will begin at the smorgasbord and continue through the Sheva Berachot, describing and explaining the sequence of events that Jewish law and tradition use to bind a couple together. We will pay particular attention to the Ketubah, the marriage contract, and the obligations it bestows on the bride and groom from the marriage and through their lifetimes. Come and learn more about the weddings you attend and about your own marriage as well.
