Rabbi Frand is a Rosh Yeshiva at Yeshivas Ner Yisroel in Baltimore, MD. Well known within the Orthodox Jewish community as a skilled orator, and has given hundreds of invited lectures over the past decades.

Rabbi Yissocher Frand is best known for his popular weekly shiurim that are broadcast to over 70 cities in North America, Europe, Israel, South Africa, and Australia.
Rabbi Frand also has achieved renown for his popular yearly lecture before Yom Kippur known as his annual "Teshuva Drasha." This year the Young Israel and the Queens Jewish Center -- along with Tomchei Shabbos of Queens -- are partnering to bring this great event to the Queens community, to help us all get ready for the Days of Awe in an awesome way.
A portion of the proceeds will go to support the wonderful work of Tomchei Shabbos of Queens

Pre-Selichot Program begins at 9:00PM - Free and Open to the Public

A special viewing of “The Quarrel” a chance reunion of two Holocaust survivors - one a Hasidic Jew, the other a skeptical journalist who has turned his back on religion - A searing examination of good and evil and the ultimate test of faith and redemption.
Post screening discussion will be led by David Karsh Director of Communications for the City of Miami Commission Chairman
This critically acclaimed production is a probing and uplifting film experience as well as a timely reflection as we enter the High Holidays.
Coffee and light refreshments will be served
Selichot service at midnight led by Chazan David Dardashti
Chazan Dardashti will lead this moving and beautiful service as we enter the days of closeness and awe.
