This is the first all new Achva trip in five years, a fabulous trip to Alaska, Hawaii and more.

From the gorgeous glaciers of Alaska to the active volcanoes of Hawaii, there are few places on Earth to match the majesty and beauty of these exotic locales. Achva has paired them together to make a trip that will be unforgettable, inspirational, and a truly once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Whether you are into glacier climbing or surfing the waves, we have got you covered!

Begin your adventure in the rugged beauty of Alaska, as you fly into the Anchorage area to begin 10 great Alaskan days including the famous Denali National Park. Travel North as far as Fairbanks as you take in some of the most beautiful sites in Alaska. From Fairbanks head over to the Seattle where you will spend four days including a Shabbat and a trip to Vancouver, BC, before flying to Honolulu, Hawaii. Hawaiian highlights will include Diamond Head, Waikiki, Hanauma Bay Snorkeling, Manoa Falls and Pearl Harbor. Hop over to Maui, one of the other islands, for a few days of kayaking, horseback riding and surfing. Then fly to Los Angeles for Shabbat before heading off to none other than fabulous Las Vegas to end this great trip in style. All told, it will be one amazing trip.

Just like all Achva trips, this tour will feature davening three times daily along with learning sessions and meaningful Shabbatot. Session topics will include delving into the halachic issues regarding the international dateline, and Tefillah times when the sun never sets. Sessions will also discuss how Judaism looks at our responsibility toward the environment. The first three Shabbatot will be spent together in a hotel. The Shabbat in Las Vegas will be spent davening together with the Jewish community there. Shabbat will be a great and inspirational way to relax at the end of a very exciting week.

Price includes room, board, all sites, attractions and educational materials, and airfare to and from the New York Area. Those who wish to fy directly to the starting point and home on their own will receive an air-travel credit.
